Bridging the Mathematics gap

With 29 hours of videos split across 44 topics, the Mathematics portion of this online course is full of rich teaching content. The course has been outlined to address the gap between the NSC and A/S or A levels as it relates to the NBTs.

To help students manage this we have started every section with a multiple choice quiz to help students to see what is in that section and to know if they can skip it as they may have already learnt it.

The teachers dip really put of effort into taking the time to teach us however in terms of properly and effectively learning, the management of time is weak, in that it is too chunked and leaves you mentally exhausted instead of leaving students with a feeling of understanding and in need of practising what was taught.

Would really appreciate if there was an option to just practice hard questions specifically(especially for mathematics). I thoroughly enjoyed this application as it prepared me for the NBT setting with relevant information and time constraints, however i was slightly irritated by the fact that i couldn't reset mock tests once i had completed them. I suggest the option for individuals to reset mock tests on certain topics once completed. Otherwise this is an amazing service and i would strongly recommend it to anyone preparing for the NBTs.

Trish, who I'm pretty sure is the mathematics teacher, is really the bomb. She is querky (in the good way) and genuine. Although I cannot remember the English teacher's name, she offered no less in terms of expertise. I got this vibe from her that she'd be one of those 'strict' teachers, but I'm sure she is rather nice *insert laughing face*. Lastly, the actual course as a whole was fantastic.
