The thorough preparation that Advantage Learn gives the students means that they know what to expect in the exam. Grantleigh’s partnership with Advantage Learn as a service provider for our Advanced Programme Mathematics has been a really good move. We were struggling to find the time and the expertise to cope with this additional subject. Our AP Maths students are loving the programme and enjoying the fact that they can slot in their AP Maths studies around their already full timetables. They feel supported and motivated by the professional team that guide them. As an Academic Head, I am also constantly kept up to date with the progress of my students by a professional and friendly mentor. We have now been with Advantage Learn for 2 years and will definitely continue this relationship into the foreseeable future.
For the past 3 years, we have hosted an NBT Preparation Workshop at Grantleigh. We usually hold it early in the second term to prepare the students for their NBT examination over the next few months. I wish I could motivate each learner who needs extra assistance to make use of Maths Online. It is an amazing product for different reasons.
The online teacher and content is the best! The product is affordable! You can repeat a section as many times as you want.
You can access the program wherever and whenever and as many times as you want! You can go back to previous grades and revise. All you need is self-discipline!
At DGHS we advertised the product and the feedback from learners who are using it is very positive and encouraging. As a Maths teacher I will recommend this for each and every Math learner!
The Advantage-Learn team are dedicated to listening to the needs and requirements of teachers and learners. They’re adaptable, willing to analyse all suggestions and open to discussing how to customise their offerings to suit our needs. Their products and content are well thought out and presented beautifully.
The online maths offering has been the most useful tool for us as a school as we have had to navigate COVID -19 and rotational learning or even learners and teachers who have been away due to isolation or quarantine.
Content is developed with more than just the standard information available, but with new and interesting ways of applying knowledge. I believe this is important for the development of much-needed analysis and problem-solving skills in our learners today. Advantage Learn is an exceptional program. I have had the privilege to work on this platform at my current school Franschhoek High School where it helped me as an educator improve my mathematical teaching strategies and knowledge. As well as my learners improve their mathematics understanding and results.
The platform is very user-friendly for an educator and learners. Well-produced short lessons that bring across one concept at a time and don’t bombard a learner with a lot of information. This is followed by many work examples and exercises which will help learners consolidate what they have learnt. Each worked example and exercises solution are also explained in detail. Each lesson is also accompanied by a worksheet so that learners can work with the educator presenting the video lesson.
Learners also have access to an answer sheet to see if their answers are correct. This is printable and can even be used by the teacher in class. After every module, there is a test so that learners can see if they understand the work.
From a teacher’s aspect, I really enjoyed the logical sequence of the lessons set out in the paths, which if followed does well to scaffold the content for the learners. You are also able to digitally keep tabs on your learners, seeing when they last logged in, how many lessons or paths they completed, and how many videos, tests, and assessments they have completed. You are also able to message learners digitally through the program which enables you to continue your syllabus even when they are not at school.
I would recommend this program to any educator and learner. It helped improve Franschhoek High Schools Grade 10,11 and 12 Mathematics results.

The geometry workbooks have also been very well received by both our teachers and students alike. Not only is the workbook a fantastic teaching and learning tool, but there is also the digital version which comes complete with a comprehensive video catalogue presented by the renowned Trish Pike, and a host of revision material and examination preparation. Teachers are also able to track their student’s engagement with the online material which we have found very useful.
The students have found the workbooks and online materials both stimulating and very beneficial in improving their mathematical understanding. We have seen students who were struggling with certain concepts improve dramatically by engaging with the material on offer. We can wholeheartedly recommend the Advantage Learn Neo Series to any Mathematics department looking to improve their Mathematics results and overall understanding of the subject.
